Death is not the end, nor does it break the bonds forged in life.

Prayer is one of the most powerful ways we can support others.
"If, then, we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him." (Rom 6:8)
The most common elements of a Roman Catholic funeral are: (1) a vigil service, (2) a funeral Mass or memorial service, and (3) a graveside service or rite of commital. Contact the Holy Spirit office to discuss the funeral services for your loved one.
To rent facilities for a Celebration of Life or reception after the funeral Mass or memorial service, contact the Holy Spirit facilities coordinator at Holy Spirit Facilities Inquiry. We have several spaces that can accommodate 100 to 500 guests.
Can we take photos or video at the funeral?
Yes. But since the Mass is an act of worship (an assembly of people at prayer) we ask that photographers or videographers act as unobtrusively as possible and avoid distracting worshipers from the prayer.
Can we display a photo of our loved one at the funeral Mass?
Yes. We have an easel that can be placed by the sanctuary to display a photograph or collage of photographs of your loved one.
Because of our belief not only in the immortality of the soul, but also in the resurrection of the body, the Church professes hope in the face of death, and acts with charity in the funeral rites. The Church provides a number of prayers for the faithful to offer both to accompany the dying of a loved one and to strengthen our faith upon their death.
Through private prayer and public funeral rites, we strengthen our faith and hope, comfort those who mourn, and bury the bodily remains of the deceased with care befitting what was the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
